You Are A Work of Art | a poem

You can't tell me you're worthless
You can't convince me that you have nothing to offer
That there is no beauty within your self
How the heck can you sit there and tell me that you're not amazing
When I can clearly see galaxies of stars in your eyes
The spitfire determination in your heart
I can see things blossom under your touch
Your gifts and talents could illuminate a room of a thousand people
Your body is made up of a million magnificent little cells
All coming together to form such a work of art
To make you
You are an unusual and unique piece of human flesh
Designed solely for the purpose of housing a soul
A gorgeous and mesmerizing and awe-inspiring soul
A spirit of life and daring and true love
You are a work of art
Don't you dare try to persuade me otherwise.
